i thought i would know what i learned from lent immediately after it was over. i still get angry when i play video games and i still like soda a lot. the one thing i do know that i gleaned from lent was this: a much greater appreciation for the resurrection of Christ.
this stems from the fact that i could not wait until easter when lent was over, thus making me yearn to celebrate his resurrection from the dead. some fresh studies in the Scripture helped me to understand the depth of his rising. that rising is in me now. galatians says that i’m dead and living, but it’s not really me who is living, but Christ in me. resurrection day by day in me!
